If She was Here - Prologue

"...There was a girl, wearing white summer dress with laces at the edges of the dress and a hat with blue satin..."

Everything was so green, from the tree formed canopy on top, till the grass he stepping on.
The sunlights peeks in from the spaces between the leaves and the sound of leaves when wind gently blow.
Ng Wei Jie standing in the middle of greens. He slowly surveyed the surround, listening to the sound of the leaves and the sound of the birds humming.
Suddenly, sound of a girl laughing fading in.
He stopped his movement, standing like a stiff. The laughing sound is soft and chiming.
His sight following the origin of the sound, turning around to the back.
There was a girl, wearing white summer dress with laces at the edges of the dress and a hat with blue satin.
Her long black hair rest on both of her shoulders, some move with the wind.
The girl facing Wei Jie, chuckling with her hands behind her.
Wei Jie looking at her, surprised.
But she doesn't seem surprise to have Wei Jie here. She keep on smiling to him, sometimes, nod her head down in the shy way.
Wei Jie try to walk toward her, but he wasn't moving at all.
Scare running up his face, he struggle to move, but he still going no where.
Then, he saw her lips open and close like she saying something.
He stopped the struggle, try to focus on what she saying.
No words reached his ears, but only sound of the leaves banging each other as the wind blow even harder than before.
Its like the leaves was gone, the light getting brighter and brighter, and he hardly see the girl anymore.
And then he knew... It was just a dream.
